Intellect Universal Banking

Intellect Universal Banking (IUB) is an integrated, scalable, flexible, secure and customer-centric core banking platform. IUB is 24/7, web-enabled, with multi-currency and multi-lingual capabilities that allows banks to serve markets all over the world through multiple channels. IUB integrates effortlessly with existing legacy applications, and is built on a SOA backbone with contemporary J2EE-based technology. It is designed with re-usable components, which makes it highly modular and flexible.

Intellect Universal Banking can serve a bank's customers across retail, small-to-medium size enterprises (SME), and commercial and corporate segments. It has the capability to provide a single view of the customer for effective relationship management and tracking of global limits for effective risk management.
 

Intellect Universal Banking is functionally rich and covers the following domains:
 Core Banking

Checking, savings, and overdraft accounts, as well as different types of call, recurring, and term deposits. Front office functions relating to teller and customer relationship management are supported, as are back-office functions, such as clearing, funds transfer, standing orders, debit card management, and sweeps.
 Loans & Mortgages

All types of unsecured and secured loans including personal, auto, student, mortgages, securitization, and syndication are part of this product. The solution has rich functionality around loan processing, flexible repayment schedules, disbursal of loan, customer repayments, partial prepayments, loan rescheduling, changes during the loan life cycle, prepayments, top-up and rollover. It also has a powerful delinquency tracking engine.
 Trade Finance

Letters of credit, bills, documentary collections, guarantees, supplier/buyer financing, open account solutions and purchase orders.
 Treasury

A comprehensive Treasury solution addressing requirements in the areas of fixed income, forex and money markets, derivatives and risk management.
 Internet Banking

A comprehensive and consolidated portal addressing retail, SME, commercial, and corporate segments, it supports key functionalities like alerts, fund transfers, debit card transactions, analyzer, deposits, exchange rates, check book management, entitlement management, and issue-of- demand drafts.
 
Back Office and Shared Services

The entire platform comes with a fees-and-charges module, which allows greater flexibility in levying service charges or rewarding customers automatically based on a combination of customer segment, product, account, transaction and channel characteristics. It also includes Credit Limit Monitoring which helps track customer limit utilization across multiple products in real time. It has a collateral management system across various business lines and product processors. The solution has an identity management system, which stores signatures & photos for verification as well as robust reconciliation and reporting engines.
