banking, cash management and capital
markets.

known as RBS India Development Center)
into The Royal Bank of Scotland
Group. He served as Managing Director

qualifications from The Chartered

Srinivasan, or Oops as he is popularly
known, is Partner and head of Intellect
Global Universal Banking. Since joining
Citicorp Overseas Software Limited
in 1992, he was involved in design,
development and implementation of
a critical universal banking system
for a large financial service provider
for over 7 years. From 1999 to 2006,
Oops headed the Enterprise Group within
Polaris that specialized in services
and solutions in the Internet space.
In this capacity he built up a Center
of Excellence that partnered with
a Tier 1 bank to deliver what is regarded
as the world's best corporate internet
banking solution. |
He
then moved over to a more strategic
role in London and successfully
led corporate banking and treasury
related solutions and consultancy
initiataives for the EMEA geography.
In
his current role based out of Chennai,
India, he heads Intellect Global
Universal Banking and is incharge
of sales support, engineering and
rollout of a key portfolio comprising
Core Banking, Consumer and Commercial
Lending, Wealth Management, Internet
Banking, Payments and other strategic
Intellect platforms.

IT industry, Venkatesh has spent 15
years in banking technology, spanning

and Polaris. Before moving to his
current role 5 years back, Venkatesh
worked as Relationship Manager/Head
of technology for Citigroup India
Corporate Banking covering application
development and maintenance. |

of India and has done a Computer
Management program. He is also a
